South Tyrolean cuisine - local dishes and top quality wines

Wedding feast in Alta Badia - love is the main reason for your visit and, as we all know, the way to the heart is through the stomach.

Traditional cuisine

The traditional South Tyrolean cuisine is the pride of our land. Well-known dishes such as dumplings, goulash, "Kaiserschmarren" and apple strudel grace the local menus and are first-class delicacies.
If you appreciate South Tyrolean cuisine, these dishes should be a must-have for your wedding buffet. We arrange the dishes extravagantly, bring in our creative ideas, make new out of old and surprise your palate. Alternatively, we can stick to the classics, just the way you like it.
The careful selection of regional and natural ingredients is important to us because you can taste the quality and on your big day only the best is good enough for us.

What would you prefer? A warm soup to start, especially if you are getting married in the cooler months, or a hearty snack with South Tyrolean bacon and cold cuts? Deliciously prepared game dishes are also classics of the local cuisine. Pappardelle with game ragout could be the perfect option for your autumn wedding. Or how about a buffet with light summer dishes and traditional South Tyrolean desserts? No matter when you get married, we always take into account the seasons, because every season has its own delicacies. Of course, we cannot forget our home Val Badia and its Ladin cuisine, characterised by dishes such as "cajenci" and "tutres".

A fine South Tyrolean wine should not be missing from your wedding table. From Lagrein Riserva to Gewürztraminer, we can recommend the perfect accompaniment for your meal. Finally, a local cheese, of which we can recommend a wide range of fabulous varieties thanks to the high milk production in the region, or a delicious dessert. For a digestif, you might consider our mountain pine grappa. With its slightly woody taste, it imparts the essence of the forest onto the palate and captures the flavours of our splendid Dolomite landscape. Look forward to traditional dishes, lovingly prepared to perfection and served with South Tyrolean hospitality.
